Dr_G_YoungPartnerships are vital to our conservation sucess.

Bush Heritage collaborates with a range of organisations, groups and individuals to build networks that encourage information, expertise, opportunities and enthusiasm to be shared. This allows everyone to benefit from the diverse skills we each bring to the table. Ultimately the greatest beneficiaries are our precious landscapes, biodiversity and future generations.

Bush Heritage reserves protect not only rare ecosystems and threatened species but also critical sites that need carefully management. These include important sites for Indigenous Australians, springs and waterways, geological formations, fossil beds and sites of historical or archaeological importance.

The rich environmental and cultural heritage values of our reserves creates unique management issues that makes partnerships with tradtional owners and other experts invaluable. Their skills allow us to make informed decisions about how we can best caring for the land. The Bush Heritage Conservation Partners Program is helping to build these connections and provide opportunities and support for its participants.
