Cravens Peak: Biodiversity of the Simpson Desert - ABC Radio National, Science Show
17 December 2005
Desert implies deserted, empty, abandoned but the real desert such as the Simpson is anything but. It teems with life, as Alexandra de Blas finds on a trip to Cravens Peak with a team of scientists who’ve done research there for 16 years. This property, recently acquired by Bush Heritage Australia, is the size of metropolitan Sydney and is situated near Boulia in southwest Queensland.
