Donation to help conserve Midlands
GRASSLANDS and woodlands in Tasmania's Midlands will be conserved by Bush Heritage Australia as a result of a $2 million donation from the Myer Foundation and the Sidney Myer fund.
The conservation group aims to secure 41,000 hectares during the next 10 years.
“The Myer Foundation and Sidney Myer Fund continue their wonderful tradition of outstanding leadership of and support for the community sector. In these difficult economic conditions this announcement reminds us that critical priorities across the sector require continuous support.”
