This feature article by Ron Geatz explores Gondwana Link, a visionary landscape reconnection project in south-western Australia.

This collaboration amongst Australian conservation organisations, including Greening Australia, The Nature Conservancy, and Bush Heritage Australia, aims to reconnect and restore a 1,000 kilometre stretch of bushland from the wet karri forests of the south west to the woodlands and mallee on the edge of the Nullarbor.

In April 2007, Gondwana Link celebrated the acquisition of two new properties, adding to the 6000 hectares protected under this program.
