Visit a Bush Heritage reserve under your own steam
We hope all our supporters will be able to come and visit a piece of Australia they've helped protect, so we've opened selected reserves for self-guided trips.
Some reserves are open for day trips, others for camping. The list below shows which reserves are open for self-guided trips.
On a self-guided trip, you'll be free to move at your own pace – taking in the beautiful surrounds and enjoying the peace and quiet. It's a great opportunity to spot birds and wildlife, take unique photos, or just unwind. You'll also see the conservation work you've helped support in action. We offer self-guided trips when conservation and safety considerations permit.
