Bush Heritage Australia's Eurardy Reserve has been fitted with a 15kwa solar photovoltaic remote area power supply.
The Remote Area Power System (RAPS).
These high powered solar panels (above) consist of 30 x 175watt BP Solar modules mounted onto Magnum Solar Tracker frames that provides high quality 24 hour power with energy being provided by the sun.
The new Solar System will reduce diesel bills, reduce staff time involved in generator starting and maintenance, and enable reserve visitors to listen to the birds and appreciate the lovely bush instead of the generator noise humming in the background.
