Dust Watch - ABC Bush Telegraph
Australia is in the grip of a 'dust age', a five-year long dry
spell with winds that sweep mega-tonnes of topsoil from the face of the
continent. Scientists from the Desert Knowledge Cooperative Research
Centre have teamed up with pastoralists, landholders and other 'dusties'
around the country to gather information about dust storms as part of
their Dust Watch program.
Alistair Dermer, Reserve Manager at Ethabuka Reserve, is interviewed for this ABC Bush Telegraph report on Dust Watch.
