This first of a four-part series on biodiversity hotspots in the Asia-Pacific region features Gondwana Link in south-west Western Australia.  This project aims to reconnect habitat from the wet karri forests of the south-west to the semi-arid woodlands and mallee on the edge of the Nullarbor.  Bush Heritage Australia is one of several not-for-profit conservation partners in this project.

This ABC/BBC report "Balancing Nature: Australia" includes interviews with Keith Bradby, Manager of Gondwana Link, and Angela Saunders, a Bush Heritage ecologist.  Audio files and transcripts of this program are available on the ABC Science Show website.

This program was subsequently reviewed in the New Scientist Environment Blog by Australasian editor Rachel Nowak.
