Victoria Naturally Alliance - Urgent Call for Submissions to Green Paper
The Victoria Naturally Alliance is calling on Victorians to make submissions to a draft plan for rebuilding the state’s devastated natural environment and protecting threatened species from extinction.
While welcoming the release this month of the Land and Biodiversity at a Time of Climate Change Green Paper the alliance warned that Victoria must protect its unique wildlife from a deadly combination of habitat loss, weeds, feral animals and now climate change.
The alliance, a coalition of eight environment groups including Bush Heritage Australia, has set up an online submission form to make it easier for Victorians to get involved in this important process. It has also created a printable submission guide available for download.
