Art exhibition in Canberra in celebration of Scottsdale.
You are invited to an art exhibition in celebration of Scottsdale.
Bush Heritage Australia’s Scottsdale Reserve was the site of a field studies program run by the School of Art at the Australian National University in first semester 2007.
Students camped on the reserve for five day stretches on three occasions to produce work inspired by the landscape Bush Heritage manages and protects. The purchase of Scottsdale was the first major action under the Kosciuszko to Coast landscape reconnection project.
Twenty percent of the proceeds from the art exhibition will go to support Bush Heritage in the vital conservation work that it does protecting land, water and wildlife. The exhibition of visual art is by students, staff and guest artists and runs from Tuesday 24 July to Sunday 5 August 2007.
