Volunteer Rangers at Carnarvon

Volunteer rangers are involved in all aspects of the management of the reserves including weed and feral animal control, infrastructure maintenance, and wildlife surveys and monitoring. If neccessary, Volunteer Rangers are provided with a vehicle (except at Tarcutta Hills and Mareeba Wetlands), accommodation and training.  

Current positions available:

Volunteer Rangers, February and March 2008
Volunteers are required to harvest native grass seeds, control priority weed species, help with fauna trapping and assist Reserve Managers at Carnarvon. Click here for more details.
