With similar vegetation, Currumbin Valley Reserve can be expected to support a similar range of fauna. Currumbin Valley Reserve will contribute to the continued maintenance of a significant area of habitat for the plants and animals of this rapidly-developing area. Elsewhere, past land-clearing and ongoing threats have had a serious impact on ecosystems of this type.
