Working with ANU, Scottsdale recently hosted a student field day, and unknowingly we discovered we maybe made a reserve record with twenty one different countries represented on the reserve in one activity.

It was an incredible day and Brett, the rather new Scottsdale Field Officer, had his first hosting experience as Bush Heritage shared its experiences about reserve management, revegetation work and, with K2C, community conservation.

It rapidly became a two way learning experience with a lot of stories exchanged .... our feral animal control issues seem easy when you hear about rangers with permission to shoot poachers!

An inspiring day.
