Cultural Landscape Group

on 26 May 2015

On the 21st May the Cultural Landscape Group meet in Launceston to progress activities associated with the the cultural heritage of the Liffey Valley.

The group is made up of 8 individuals. Five are actively undertaking specific projects, research or investigations, two in support and guidence positions, and one as the coordinator.

All of these positions are voluntary.

The group has evolved out of a need to know more about the cultural landscape of the Liffey Valley, the connections, motivations, and associations, and in the first instance how this relates to the past 40 years following Bob Browns move into the valley.

Oura Oura is rich in cultural heritage of National and Global significance, so having the support of the professionals on this group enables us to better mange both the cultural and natural values.
