Long time supporter first time volunteer Stephanie Robertson has just finished a week of weed spraying on Scottsdale in some pretty ordinary weather.
Arriving on the Sunday afternoon Stephanie was greeted with about 5cm of snow Monday morning, followed by a week's worth of -6 to -8 degree temperatures in the morning, making that morning wash a quick ordeal – and that's when we had water!
Despite the cold starts Stephanie was always cheerful and ready for a day of spraying the dreaded serrated tussock, which is one of the high-priority weeds being controlled on Scottsdale.
A big thanks to Stephanie for volunteering her time in the cold to help out on Scottsdale.
