Nardoo community bike ride

on 13 Oct 2013

While many of you were sleeping in on Sunday or dusting off your bikes ready for "ride to work" day, a small but dedicated group were taking on the tracks around Wedderburn and our much loved Nardoo Hills reserves.

For a number of years now the Loddon Shire has put together a schedule of activities during spring, to encourage people to explore/visit the area. In the spirit of community engagement Jeroen hosted a local bike ride along bush tracks that linked the many important reserves/parks in the area.

It was a fantastic day and a great fun ride. Visual highlights were the acres of flowering Chocolate Lilies and the spectacular views from Mt Kerang.

A big thanks to Jeroen and his family, with Oscar and Evan leading the way with boundless energy and Marg on vehicle support.
