Bush Heritage held at stall at the 100th Northampton Show over the weekend.

Eurardy Reserve falls within the Northhamptom Shire. The Show is a great place to connect with neighbours, friends and local community members as well as visitors to the region.

Ben Parkhurst (Reserve Ecologist and Eurardy Reserve Manager), Jo Axford (Community Engagement - West) and Rosemary Harper (Bush Heritage volunteer extraordinaire) talked to many people over the course of the day. We were very relieved and happy to have a beautiful sunny warm day greet us. (The last time Ben and Jo were at the Show we had a wild rainy windy cold weather!)

We were extremly grateful to have Rosemary join us. Rosemary had traveled to Eurardy Reserve from her home in Perth (6 hours away) to help with the annual weeds working bee. She's been volunteering for Bush Heritage for over 10 years and has a wealth of knowledge and energy. She was very keen to recruit people to help combat weeds at Eurardy and we loved seeing her convince people that they should volunteer their time to help Eurardy's environment.
