Reptile monitoring and rabbit week at Scottsy

One expert and two new reptile monitors set a new record for the area by getting over 50 reptiles on day one and then a few days later getting over 70!! ACT reserves average under 10 a day by comparison. They also got two new species for reserve .... eastern three lined skink and large striped skink! This makes twenty reptile species listed for reserve which made loads of happy people

...and all the time the rabbiteers were plodding away .... numbers still held less 80% less than three years ago, but those surface dwellers and incomers keep them busy !!
