Reptiles at Scottsdale

on 14 Nov 2014

With the help of 12 volunteers over five outings this year, and ably led by rusted-on volunteer Bret Howland, we recorded several hundred reptiles.

Finds included delicate skinks, grass skinks, dwarf skinks, Boulenger's skinks, three-toe skinks and Jacky lizards at Scottsdale.

Bret is very tolerant of reserve staff who seem to be very adept at driving over and breaking his clay monitoring tiles :-)

The same week we were lucky enough to see this very healthy looking, pregnant Rosenburg Lizard down at the river.

A good week despite the tiles!
