A long time supporter has asked us on Facebook to get behind her petition to the Federal Govt to not reduce Tasmania's World Heritage Listing of 170,000 Hectares of old growth forests. If this occurs, this will be the first time a developed country has deliberately removed a property or part of a property from the World Heritage List.

As an apolitical organisation it's not appropriate for us to get involved in advocacy campaigns. But as individuals you may choose to sign the petition, which urges both the World Heritage Committee and the Federal Government to leave the protected area in tact without boundary reductions.
