Grasslands are not the easiest things to photograph well.

Scottsdale Reserve has had an excellent spring with wonderful showings of grassland flowers, from button wrinkle worts, purple peas, creamy candles, yam daisy, chocolate nodding and, for some reason my favourite, the bulbines.

It's these kind of plants that we're seeking to reintroduce into much of the valley floor as part of the revegetation program here.
