Light begins to crack through the Liffey Valley at our Oura Oura Reserve in Tasmania on Palawa Country. The birthplace of Bush Heritage Australia wakes to meet another day.
It is here in 1991, Bob Brown urgently rallied to purchase and protect 14 hectares of precious land from being logged. An action that set this organisation in motion.
Fast forward 30 years, Bush Heritage now works across 11.3 million hectares of land, protecting Australia’s most vulnerable ecosystems and species, in perpetuity.
This bushgift supports Bush Heritage’s continued ecological work on our reserves across Australia. Learn more about the places Bush Heritage protects.
