Webinar: Ecological monitoring | Bush Heritage Australia Skip to main content

In celebration of National Science Week (13-21 August 2022) we shone the spotlight on our Science and Conservation team and delved into the world of ecological monitoring.

Returning the bush to good health requires sound understanding of the ecological condition of the landscapes we care for, so we can ensure the work we’re doing is having the desired outcome. Planning and measuring our impact is a key part of our work. From capturing data and examining changes over time, we gain insights into landscape health, from which we can continue to improve.

Join Bush Heritage Australia’s Clair Dougherty and Vanessa Westcott as they discuss our conservation management process, biodiversity indicators and why ecological insight is the foundation for our robust, collaborative approach to conservation.

Plus, meet our new Chief Scientist, Hedley Grantham!
