A day in the life of Jane Blackwood at Cravens Peak
Like many of our reserve managers, Jane Blackwood lives and works in one of the most remote corners of Australia. At 233,000 hectares, Cravens Peak Reserve, in far western Queensland, is about the same size as the Australian Capital Territory. But with temperatures reaching upwards of 50 degrees Celsius in summertime, it is a vastly different place.
To find out what it takes to look after such a landscape, we spent a day in her life.
