For decades, Bush Heritage, Traditional Custodians and local, state and private conservation groups have been working to create refuges for plants and animals on Badimia Country in mid-west Western Australia. Combined, a connected area of nearly one million hectares has been secured. Until now, one crucial piece has been missing – Wanarra.
