Wrapping up 2022

Published 14 Dec 2022

It’s been a big year in the environment and conservation space in so many ways! On the national front, there was the confronting State of the Environment report, a new federal government with momentum for change in climate and environment policy, signing on to ‘30 by 30’ targets and opportunities to transform environment law reforms.

At an organisation level, the Bush Heritage team has been working harder than ever to return the bush to good health, including the acquisition of five new reserves - Ediegarrup in Southeast WA, Glovers Flat in Tassie’s Liffey Valley, and the Buckrabanyule, Ngulambarra and John Douglas Reserves on Dja Dja Wurrung Country in central Victoria.

Join Bush Heritage Australia’s Heather Campbell and Dr Rebecca Spindler as they wrap up the year in conservation and chat about an exciting path ahead for Bush Heritage in 2023 and beyond.
