Hi. I'm Nicole from Bush Heritage Australia. Thank-you for your interest in our conservation work – returning the bush to good health. Near the end of a very challenging year for many people, as well as for wildlife, I wanted to take the opportunity to personally show you some of the groundwork that we're doing around the country to protect Australia's magnificent landscapes and irreplaceable native species.
Over the past 30 years Bush Heritage has created safe havens for over 6,700 unique species of plants and animals with the help of passionate supporters like you and in partnership with Aboriginal people. That includes hundreds of threatened species, from the Bilby to the Golden-shouldered Parrot.
These species are now better protected from threats such as habitat loss, feral predators and large damaging bushfires. Because Australia wouldn't be Australia without our wild places and the unique life that fills them.
But right now our wildlife is under greater threat than ever before and we're going to need more people to take action if we're going to prevent these species from being lost forever.
If you want to learn more about our work and how you can get involved, please don't hesitate to let us know.
