Valuing culture

Published 21 Sep 2022

Our Aboriginal Partnerships Team, and the wider Bush Heritage team, work hand in hand with Traditional Owners to ensure their aspirations, values and cultural complexities are not only heard and understood, but also embedded into our conservation management practices.

Our approach to land management recognises Aboriginal people’s enduring interconnectedness with the environment. One important way to value the history, develop partnerships and understand cultural significance on Bush Heritage reserves is to carry out cultural heritage surveys.

Join Bush Heritage Australia's Vikki Parsley, Uncle Phil Eulo and Vanessa Westcott as they chat about cultural heritage surveys and how they are incorporated into Bush Heritage Australia's conservation work.
