Pilungah Reserve on Wangkamadla Country in Queensland encompasses 233,000 hectares on the fringe of the Simpson Desert.
Fertile dune swales and temporary waterbodies are an important oasis for many desert animals.
Under Bush Heritage’s management, Pilungah’s many reptiles including the Woma, a rare desert python, and the nationally vulnerable Mulgara, are offered refuge against the harshest conditions.
This bushgift helps support Bush Heritage’s work to protect all the species that call Pilungah home.
